Dear friends,

The voters of DeKalb County have spoken, and I congratulate Maureen Josh on her victory.

I want to thank all of the voters who put their faith in me and voted for change. We were all part of an historic election, one that perhaps we won’t understand fully for years to come.

Thank you to all the work that was done on my behalf by the DeKalb County Democratic Party, the precinct committeemen, and both the Ryan Gailey and Bill Foster campaigns. Eileen Dubin is truly an inspiration to all of us. Thank you Eileen. Jim Luebke has been phenomenal as my right hand. Thank you Jim. Most importantly my family has been unbelievable. I am so lucky to have such a loving, supportive family, I could not have done any of this without them.

I believe in a true Democracy, especially in elected offices where we do not have term limits, the electorate must field an opposition. If for nothing else it holds those incumbents accountable. I am honored to have offered the voters of Dekalb County a choice for a change in the DeKalb County Circuit Clerk's Office.

I believe DeKalb County can move forward pro-actively and be a leader by setting a standard for an efficient, transparent Judicial System.
